Cycling accident attorney On February 1st, David Drexler joined the Conejo Valley Cyclists (CVC) at their monthly meeting in Westlake where he spoke about road cycling safety and risks, as well as the “Cyclists Bill of Rights.” The CVC was established more than 30 years ago to encourage both amateur racing and recreational bicycling by promoting bicycling-related activities throughout the Conejo Valley, Southern California and nationally.

In his talk, David spoke about road cycling safety as a lawyer who specializes in bicycling accidents. He discussed what cyclists need to know before and after an accident and explained how to understand the law regarding the prosecution of cycling injury claims. These presentations promote education and awareness to biking safety, cyclists rights and explain the legal protections available for injured cyclists. The Drexler Law Firm is devoted to advocating on behalf of road cyclists in Southern California.

David Drexler’s first major personal injury damage award was in 1985. It was on behalf of a cyclist injured by a left-turning truck, which resulted in a $1.5 million verdict. In the past year, the Drexler Law firm has successfully settled three cycling injury cases in the seven-figure dollar range.
