A New Year with the Drexler Law Firm

It is that time of year again. The New Year. 2018 has arrived. It is a time for gratitude and introspection. It is a time for self improvement and goal setting. It is a time when we evaluate what serves us in a positive way and what should be jettisoned from our lives. We have all enjoyed our time with family and friends and fun and vacations and fireplaces and over-eating and it is time to get back to work.

We love the holidays and we love planning for the new year, but it can absolutely be challenging. Challenges make us stronger and wiser and if we avoided these tough inward looking conversations, then we would not be creating opportunities for growth, adaptation and evolution in the new year.

This holiday season, we at the Drexler Firm have wrapped our minds around these concepts and came to some realizations. These are not new ideas that we have never contemplated before, but rather the solidification of some old truths that have never been more important than right now.

Our industry, along with all other industries, continues to go through many changes. Some are technologically driven, some driven by actual changes in the law itself, and some philosophical. These changes are an inevitable part of life and entrepreneurship and need to be embraced if we all wish to stay ahead of our professional curve.

Our industry has become saturated with online internet advertising and high volume marketing techniques. Unfortunately, we have had a lot of clients come to us who have worked with some of these firms who felt they were just a case number in a stack of papers. They felt a void of any real connection with little feeling of empathy in their time of crisis. With these clients, we seized the opportunity and dug in on a deep level, becoming close with the families as we pursued the bumpy path to justice alongside them.

We realized that what is being stripped away from the practice of personal injury law is the human element. This is an arena where people come to us in their darkest hour. It is our job as lawyers to represent them to the best of our abilities, but it is our job as human beings to support them by listening and understanding what they are going through.

The key to our success, the currency that we need to invest the most time and effort in, the lifeblood of our business, and our ability to succeed in what we do is PEOPLE. But it is not just those injured victims who need our services… it is also YOU.

Our professional network, our loyal sources of referrals, our friends and our family that keep us in mind when they hear a story that sounds like a battle that needs to be fought and won… YOU are the key.

You are the connection between injured victims and compassionate personal injury care. You refer people you love and respect to us because you understand that our attentive care is an extension of you and how you do business.

At the start of this New Year, we would like to express our deepest gratitude for those who loyally refer us cases. We would also like to offer up ourselves to you to promote your business in whatever way we possibly can, as you are an extension of us. We wish to be a resource and a support to you all as you have been to us. We will also continue to pay generous referral fees for those attorneys who refer cases to us.

Please call us if there is anything we can do to assist you in your resolutions and goals for 2018. We are grateful for you all and appreciate you deeply. Thank you for making the Drexler Firm what it is today.

We wish for a happy, healthy, successful, prosperous and positive year for everyone!
